Men's Fashion Jewellery

Since the dawn of man, we love to decorate our body with jewels, intended as lucky talismans, symbolic language or just to embellish our look. In the fashion shows of spring summer 2019, there were many fashion jewels for men, which embellish the male outfits with a touch of glamour.

For a cool and trendy style, put a necklace around your neck

Never like this season, we’ve seen so many jewels on catwalks. For spring summer 2019 fashion designers unleashed their imagination, combining the most trendy outfits with all kinds of necklaces, often worn one on each other for an more stylish effect and emphasized by the shirt, worn opened on the tanned skin. The designers’ inspirations also come from far spaces and times. There are, for example, the ethnic motifs decorating the pendants of the wooden beaded necklaces designed by Eleventy, or the rosary- style necklaces inspired by the Middle Ages proposed by N ° 21. Gothic look instead, for the pendants with crystals or skulls designed by Alexander McQueen, while the necklaces by Dolce & Gabbana are inspired by the Renaissance-style crown jewels of royal houses and are decorated with intricate golden motifs and colored gems. Even the Gucci’s necklaces are showy and precious, with logo and iconic words made with rhinestone, that make these jewels extremely trendy for the contemporary Dandy. Following the great trend of utility style, that we find in many clothing collections, even the necklaces are inspired by military look, with metal tags engraved with the brands’ logo like those by Ermenegildo Zegna, Diesel and Dsquared2. The most modern necklaces could also be simple metal chains, proposed in various versions. Silver for Versace, minimal and slim for Saint Laurent, 80s-style and maxi for Dior Homme and Grunge-style for Vetements.

Steel, leather and beads for the coolest men's bracelets of the season

In the fashion shows of spring summer 2019, we also saw on runways many bracelets, worn alone or overlapping to completely fill the tanned arms of the male models, even on the beach combined with the best swim trunks of the season. Among the many materials preferred by designers there are leather and metal, proposed in many different versions:

  • Fossil creates minimal and high-tech steel rigid bangles
  • Aged-effect gold for the rigid bangles decorated with intricate baroque motifs proposed on catwalk by Gucci
  • Large woven chains, in silvered or burnished metal, for Emanuele Bicocchi
  • Leather mixed with steel for the semi-rigid bracelets of Dsquared2 and Tom Ford
  • Emporio Armani instead creates two-tone leather or rubber bracelets decorated by small tags with its engraved logo
  • Woven leather strips or tubulars, creating interesting multicolored effects and three-dimensional textures, for Tod's, Giorgio Armani and Bottega Veneta
  • Diesel chooses the wooden and metal beads, mixing gold with black, for its tribal bracelets
  • Punk style instead for the bracelets of Eleventy and Alexander McQueen, decorated with small metal skulls

Small jewels for an always chic and refined style

Beyond the jewels seen in the fashion shows, there are also smaller, but equally important pieces proposed in the fashion jewelry collections by many prestigious brands. For example, rings are fashion jewels among the most appreciated by elegant men, who always take care about details and for this are lover of all accessories. Among the most beautiful rings, there are those inspired by noble emblems created by Vivienne Westwood. For who loves dark and cutting-edge looks there are the skull-shaped rings by Alexander McQueen and those that seem military tags, but rolled around the fingers, created by Maison Margiela. Earrings are worn alone or in pairs and could be small, but extremely precious, like those in crystals by Dolce & Gabbana or street-style like the piercing-effect ones by Dsquared2. Brooches decorate with a touch of sophistication the tailored jackets and the most elegant blazers. For romantic men there are the floral brooches by Lanvin and Dsquared2, while who prefers a more sophisticated look could decorate the lapels of the jacket with the small paisley motif brooches proposed by Etro. The return of vintage style means that even the cufflinks are again the protagonists of men's fashion, perfect to wear with the beautiful French shirts and suitable not only for evening outfits, but also for the hipster-style look of modern Dandy. There are very fancy models, like those with many funny shapes created by Cufflinks Inc., a company specialized in unique and stylish cufflinks. Innovative and nice are also those proposed by Paul Smith, with colorful striped patterns or small bicycles, both motifs so much loved by the designer. Alexander McQueen proposes iconic skulls in many different versions, mixing metal with pearls and rhinestones, while Etro chooses the paisley motif for its enameled metal cufflinks. For who loves the minimal style, there are those created by Montblanc, in steel and decorated with small gemstones, and those by Burberry, featuring its traditional checked pattern embossed on metal. Logo-mania, instead, for the cufflinks designed by Gucci, Versace and Tod's. A touch of color, which could be matched to the colorful patterns of silk ties, is given by Maria Enrica Nardi with psychedelic printed cufflinks.
