Homage to Memphis
Fall 2020 is approaching with all its clouds, and we want to face it in joy.
Saturated colors, bold combinations, overlapping of printed, graphic, multicolor pieces and outerwear.
Our inspiration is the Memphis Group.
Revolutionary, iconoclastic, ironic, kitsch: the collective born in 1981 at Ettore Sottsass's house to the notes of Bob Dylan's song "Stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blue again" broke into the design landscape with its postmodernist approach, which remixes references to Deco, Pop art and Futurism, using poor materials such as plastic laminate and bright colors with shocking combinations.
A heart jacquard sweater with wonderfully improbable colors that reminds us of middle school. A pixelated skirt that feels so Commodore 64. Ultra-15ashed jeans and terry socks. Paraboot lace-ups. A real plunge into the core of the 80's pop.
The red and black checks of the outerwear are mixed with multicolor prints and accessories in candy colors. Contrasts create harmony: this is the key to the success of the Memphis Group and the secret to unforgettable outfits.
