Women's accessories sale up to 50% off the new season
Those that were once defined simply as objects that completed the look of the elegant woman, today have become a real must-have. So much so that the designers of both Made in Italy and international fashion dedicate a large part of their collections to accessories. This is also the case for the spring-summer of 2019, and the trendiest fashion houses almost compete to create the most beautiful, colorful, fun and chic accessories.
With the sun or without, the important thing is to choose the model and the perfect color for summer 2019 sunglasses
With the first rays of sunlight, surely the sunglasses are among the most important accessories to enter our handbags. For those who love spending time on the beach or outdoors, sunglasses are an essential accessory. The newest ideas are often inspired by vintage shapes and in particular by the 70s and 80s. This is the case of thick frames, colored or with geometric patterns, proposed for example by Salvatore Ferragamo and Fendi, both of which are inspired by the Hippie style. The maximalism of the 80s instead has been seen in the catwalks of Gucci and Byblos, which have created enormous models that almost entirely cover the face. One of the strongest trends for sunglasses are colors, starting with black. The total-black is chosen by many designers for its aura of mystery, as for example we have seen in the collections by Off-White, Saint Laurent and Céline. Then there are the strong and bright colors like the yellow chosen by Byblos, the pink chosen by Philipp Plein and the red of Saint Laurent. Among the prints, a great classic is always the turtle effect chosen by Thom Browne and Dolce & Gabbana. Even women’s glasses are no longer what they once was, because now they have become a real beauty secret. There are models with light frames around the lens or frameless created for example by Dior, Gucci and Ralph Lauren, while a vintage touch is given to the big 70s and 80s style models of Chloé, Stella McCartney and Dior. The cat-eye line in the style of the 50s is always very feminine and was chosen by Saint Laurent with a black frame, while has a turtle effect for Dolce & Gabbana and Marc Jacobs. A touch of color is given by Max Mara, Ray-Ban, Cartier and Giorgio Armani, who choose pastel colors or strong shades such as red.
The hat is the true protagonist of the summer
Even if we cannot wait to relax under the sun, it is always important to protect ourselves from too hot rays with a hat. For the summer designers have indulged with many forms, colors and references to sport or men's fashion:
- One of the best-selling models is definitely the hat with visor that this year is inspired by baseball with the classic models, strong colors and fabrics such as cotton and leather, as for Moschino and Off-White
- Instead, tennis inspired those with only the visor created for example by Armani, but also by Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld
- Among the models stolen from the male wardrobe there are the fisherman-style hats in cotton or nylon created by Y-3
- Masculine and marine look for the 30s style captains models seen almost everywhere in the ready-to-wear collections, from Isabel Marant to Dsquared2
- To never renouncing to femininity and practicality, in summer the straw hats are ideal and this year are proposed in many different variations, from the Mexican style of Etro to the classic Borsalino’s panama, but also to the very holiday mood models of Chanel and Valentino Garavani
For spring, but not only: here are the most trendy scarves, foulard and stoles
For the cool evenings of spring, but also to wear for a trip in a boat or car in perfect Grace Kelly style, the silk and cotton head scarfs are back on the runway. One of the most popular and one of the most photographed accessories seen during the fashion weeks, is definitely the bandana foulard, to wear tied in the head’s back or at the neck, as in the case of the fashion shows of Tod's, J. W. Anderson, Dior and Dolce & Gabbana. But certainly for the summer the perfect choice is to opt for a scarf or a stole with a beautiful and imaginative print. There are a lots of variants from which you could choose your favorite. From the floral prints of Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Gucci to the ethnic motifs of Etro and Saint Laurent, from the leopard by Moschino to the prints with logo patterns of Kenzo and Valentino. But there are also the soft pastel colors like those of Faliero Sarti or in the pop version of Versace and Maria Enrica Nardi.
Fashion jewelry are inspired by vintage or by geometric shapes and give a touch of color to our look
Summer is the best time to show off our refined and elegant style with the most precious fashion and luxury jewellery. To combine with tanned skin and outfits for both day and evening, fashion jewellery is one of the most loved accessory for women. Among the latest trends there are the vintage-style jewels that are inspired by the recent past, such as the 80s loved by Moschino, Gucci and Chanel, but also more back in time. There are necklaces in the style of the Roaring Twenties such as those of Saint Laurent, the baroque bijoux of Alexander McQueen, up to the Ancient Rome with the jewels of Michelangelo and Versace. A lot of stylistic research is done by the most avant-garde creators about materials. Contemporary jewels include leather models by Givenchy, the rigid metal bracelets by Balmain, the Balenciaga's 70s plastic bracelets, as well as Missoni's fabric jewels. Among the most interesting proposals there are fashion jewels recalling nature, geometric shapes and symbolic images such as crosses, hearts and stars. The same is true for the high-end jewellery made of the richest materials such as gold, diamonds, precious stones and pearls. There are pendants made in the shape of a heart, like that by Chopard, or the sensual mouths and eyes designed by Delfina Delettrez. For jewels, colors are very important and this year there are many shades given by precious stones. Sapphires and blue tanzanite are used by Petralux, the emeralds for their beautiful green tone are loved by Boucheron, but there are also multicolored stones used for earrings and necklaces and bracelets from Buccellati and Gucci. More traditional materials like pearls, diamonds and gold are used for the creations of Anna Sheffield, De Grisogono, but also Tiffany & Co. and Dolce & Gabbana.
The accessories that we cannot do without are the wallets and key holders, colorful and fun, perfect for summer
Indispensable in everyday life, the wallets proposed by international designers abandon the dark colors typical of winter and adopt cheerful shades and imaginative prints, such as for the animal prints or floral patterns of Dolce & Gabbana, the polka dot prints by Comme Des Garçons or the classic Burberry check. Color is the protagonist of the collections of women's accessories, with metallic shades, neutral or pastel colors and strong tones. An example are the wallets, credit cards and purses by Furla, Tod's and Michael Kors. The leather is the main element for both the continental and the classic wallets with zip or button closure. Among the most interesting proposals are the interweaving leather wallets by Bottega Veneta, the quilted by Versace or the reptile prints by Dolce & Gabbana, but also the leather wallets decorated by bows, as in the case of Salvatore Ferragamo, or by stars, like the ultra-glamorous ones of Jimmy Choo. About the key holders instead, which are among the most beloved objects of desire, there is nothing but the spoilt for choice between so many extremely imaginative models and forms. For spring summer 2019 you can choose between many nice and funny animals ranging from the bear of Burberry and Stella McCartney to the swallows of Valentino Garavani or the tropical animals of Braccialini. Then there are the comic characters of Karl Lagerfeld and Love Moschino, but also the mini handbags by Emilio Pucci, Bally and Versace. Among the most classic and certainly very useful models there are the leather covers closed by buttons or zips, which contain many keys of different sizes, designed by many designers such as Bottega Veneta, Jimmy Choo and Fendi. Or the classic key rings with leather straps designed by Montblanc, Maria Enrica Nardi and those with fringed tassels by Orciani and Calvin Klein.
