Second skin

Not surprisingly, there was a strong presence of leather this season on menswear catwalks: leather is a material that should never be missing in men’s wardrobe.

In all its possible variations, in the collections of Philipp Plein, Neil Barrett, Roberto Cavalli, Eleventy, Brioni and Dior, leather is the absolute protagonist, interpreted from time to time in a rock, classical or 70’s way. We find it in many shapes, colors and types of surface processing.

Black, brown and beige the most classic colors, with a large return of the blue are in the palette of the most fashionable designers. Glossy, matte, woven and printed, with vintage effect, the leather is calfskin, sheepskin, vegan or some printed technological material.

Black Street Boys

Black is one of the most used color to dye leather. Gritty, revolutionary, sometimes aggressive and often sensual, black leather is right for jackets and accessories, but in the latest collections we find new ideas to wear it. The jacket becomes street style if matched to the sweatshirt, the t-shirt earns in character, the cap becomes irreverent and even cotton trousers want to look like they were made from leather.

Comfort zone

Something new appears on the horizon of the most classic outfit. Blue returns, shaded in various tones, but the real news is in the printing. In this way, leather seems a classic fabric of the male tradition, and its softness makes it look really comfortable and practical even for the office.
